Is there life on Mars? From 2020 the European Space Agency will be sending ExoMars to find out! Join Abbie Hutty as she discusses her incredible work and the excitement around Europe's first Martian Rover. This will be followed by a showing of the 2015 sci fi hit The Martian.

Abbie Hutty will be joining LifeLab from Airbus Defence and Space, the company leading the design of the Rover Vehicle, to discuss some of the latest advances in European space exploration. The ExoMars rover will be the first European rover headed to the red planet, to join the likes of the NASA’s Curiosity Rover, with the aim of discovering if there was ever life on Mars!

What better way to get in the mood for Mars before our screening of The Martian? See the film in a completely new light after hearing about the huge amount of development that goes into making space missions possible in the 21st century.
